You can find the Norwegian version of the Nathalia Dress here.

The Nathalia Dress is an elegant dress with an open back and trumpet sleeves. The dress is worked seamlessly from the top down; first working back and forth and then in the round using circular needles.

The right and left shoulder pieces are worked separately with contiguous shoulder increases, sleeve increases, and increases for the neckline. The two shoulder pieces are joined by casting on sts for the center front. The yoke is worked back and forth with sleeve increases and then raglan increases. The sleeve sts are placed on hold while sts are casted on for the center back.

The skirt is worked in the round using circular needles, with decreases to shape the waist and then increases to shape the dress over the hips. Short rows are worked so that the edge at the bottom of the dress is straight. The dress is finished with a folded edge at the bottom.

The sleeves are worked in the round in stockinette st with increases. The dress has i-cord ties and an i-cord bind off for the neck edge.

The pattern includes instructions for how to alter the dress to fit your body perfectly.

Size guide:

The Nathalia Dress is fitted across the chest and waist, while the skirt has a looser fit.

While the pattern is based on a size chart with standardized body measurements, the pattern also includes instructions for adjusting the dress based on your own body measurements. In addition, the knitted fabric makes the dress stretchy so the dress will naturally be fitted.

Use your bust measurement as a starting point to determine which size to knit. The waist and hip circumferences can be adjusted as you knit.

The recommended negative ease is approximately 6 cm [2 ⅜ inches]. Measure yourself around your bust or the widest point of your torso, and subtract 6 cm [2 ⅜ inches] to determine which size to knit.
